Booking and Cancellation Policy

For up to 2 rooms and a maximum of 2 nights

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, a credit card number is required at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation. The card will not be charged in advance, and payment is made on-site. If a credit card number is not provided, we reserve the right to cancel your booking.

  • Cancellations/changes can be made free of charge up to 7 days before arrival.
  • If cancellation or changes are made less than 7 days before arrival, we reserve the right to charge the full amount unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • In case of no-show, the total booking amount will be charged.

Cancellation Protection for up to 2 rooms and a maximum of 2 nights

  • Cancellations or changes can be made up to 24 hours before arrival (no later than 15:00 the day before) and only the cancellation protection fee will be charged.
  • If cancellation or changes are made less than 24 hours before arrival, the full amount will be charged.
  • The cancellation protection applies only to our standard rooms (not Glamping) and costs 500 SEK per room.
  • In case of no-show, the total booking amount will be charged.

For 3–5 rooms or stays longer than 2 nights

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, a credit card number is required at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation. If a credit card number is not provided, we reserve the right to cancel your booking.

  • Payment is made via advance invoice, which must be settled 30 days before arrival.
  • Cancellations/changes can be made free of charge up to 20 days before arrival.
  • If cancellation or changes are made less than 20 days before arrival, we reserve the right to charge the full amount unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • In case of no-show, the total booking amount will be charged.

Cancellation Protection for 3–5 rooms or stays longer than 2 nights

  • Cancellations or changes can be made up to 14 days before arrival, and only the cancellation protection fee will be charged.
  • If cancellation or changes are made less than 14 days before arrival, the full amount will be charged.
  • The cancellation protection applies only to our standard rooms (not Glamping) and costs 500 SEK per room.
  • In case of no-show, the total booking amount will be charged.

For 6 rooms or more

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, a credit card number is required at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation. If a credit card number is not provided, we reserve the right to cancel your booking.

  • Payment is made via advance invoice, which must be settled 40 days before arrival.
  • Cancellations/changes can be made free of charge up to 30 days before arrival.
  • If cancellation or changes are made less than 30 days before arrival, we reserve the right to charge the full amount unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • In case of no-show, the total booking amount will be charged.

Additional Information

Age Requirement

Sund Nergården has a minimum age requirement of 18 years.

Dog-Friendly Rooms

We have two rooms where dogs are welcome (max 2 dogs per room).

  • There is no extra charge for dogs, but any damage to furniture or property will be charged accordingly.
  • If we need to compensate other guests due to disturbances (e.g., barking), this cost will also be charged.
  • Dogs are allowed in our common areas, provided they can interact well with other dogs.
  • If we have guests with allergies, we may ask you to keep your dog in the room. In that case, it is essential that your dog can stay alone without issues.

For dog-friendly room bookings, please contact us in advance.

Alcohol Policy

Alcohol brought from outside may only be consumed in rooms or Glamping. Other areas of the hotel and restaurant are licensed premises under Swedish alcohol law.

Safety

  • Please read through the safety information in your room.
  • Smoke detectors and fire extinguishers are available in every room.
  • No lifeguard is on duty – swimming and sauna use are at your own risk.
  • Be cautious when walking, as some areas may be slippery.

Smoking Policy

  • Smoking is only permitted near the bench by the parking area.
  • Smoking is not allowed in rooms, Glamping areas, patios, or other shared spaces.
  • Used snus pouches must not be discarded in nature.
  • A cleaning fee of minimum 5,000 SEK will be charged if smoking occurs in the room or Glamping area.

Pool & Sauna

  • Showering is required before using the pool.
  • Please use the grey towels provided in your room for swimming.
  • The pool may be closed due to unexpected maintenance or events.

Housekeeping

  • Daily cleaning is included.

Lost & Found

If you think you have forgotten something, please contact us at info@sundnergarden.se.
Provide a description of the item, the name on the booking, and the date of your stay.

  • We keep lost items for one month.
  • Sund Nergården is not responsible for lost items.
  • Items can be collected by arrangement or shipped to you for a fee covering postage and handling costs.

Storage of Valuables

  • Valuables can be stored in the safe in your room or Glamping unit.
  • Do not leave luggage or valuables unattended.
  • The hotel is not responsible for items stored in rooms or Glamping areas.

Gift Cards

  • Our gift cards are digital and sent via email after purchase.
  • Gift cards are a valuable document and are used as payment during your visit.
  • Lost gift cards cannot be replaced and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Right of withdrawal: You have 7 days of open purchase after buying a gift card. The value will be refunded minus an administrative fee of 250 SEK.
  • Gift cards are valid for two years from the purchase date and can be used for both accommodation and dining.
